Spent some time tonight talking to a new online friend i will call “thegirl” since that is what she first used when she stumbled out of the darkness of irc. we have been talking quite a lot in the past little while, which is nice.

Thought I might have some plans for fri but they didnt really pan out.. so I am planning to maybe do something on sat with epibeta. should be a good time. Been a very long time since I have seen or talk to him at all. He seems to have a ton of news to tell me about changes and stuff in his life which will be cool to catch up on.

Work was a pretty good day of getting stuff done today and tomorrow should be really busy so lets hope I can keep up the getting stuff done and get all this crap out of the way for a change.

Came across a neat little post on Hugh’s Blog, called From PlayStation to supercomputer. Not really sure why they dont think linux can be installed on a xbox, but i am still a fan of the ps2 over it anyhow.

Have to meet today with someone about a site I was doing the back end on. I am not 100% happy with it but I am not usally happy and never feel any site is ever done. But i guess that is cause most sites never are, they are like everything else on the internet always changing. It will be nice to have that thing out of the way even if only for a little while.

Spent time tonight just moving movies and stuff off cd to the file server. Got a few album covers but have to sort some music around before I can get anymore. feeling pretty tired, which is prob a good thing since I have not been sleeping at all in the past while. I dont know if i mentioned the lavalamp i got at the local thrift shop for 5$, but it has been providing a lot more than 5$ worth of entertainment for me. :)

Got lots or work to do tomorrow and lots to do here for myself still. seems like some stuff will never be done and other stuff will never start.

To back track on the post I have decided I want to get a small wireless keyboard for the freevo box rather than a remote.. cause irc from the futon is just way too nice.

Spent a fair bit of time this weekend getting my freevo box going. and I must say I am so impressed with it. I have seen it at another persons house, but didnt realize the total the power of it. I am not a person that watches movies or tv to much but I think this little box could now change that quickly.
