Design it right!

I have noticed a fair number of sites starting to use the “target=” which I can see if they have something they are trying to keep you on the page for and the link is to a complete diff site. It is a pain when I goto a site and they have everything I click open in a new window, even there own stuff. Bands are the worse for this with there online stores not being intergrated into there own site.

I am also well know for not liking Shockwave or Flash at all. Really I dont like Java on sites, but in some cases it works nice. I guess I dont like anything that is not server side… This is how ever one of the best uses of flash I have seen in a while. :)

Amen, brother… Opening links into new windows is generally really lame. That’s not how the web originally worked… it kind of destroys the concept of “surfing”. Just my opinion though, I suppose…

I can see it in some cases, but not in most. I think the original concept of the internet was distroyed when they uploaded the first image. :)
