I had to break up some of the plants in the tank today. A few of the leaves where looking a little yellow, so I pulled them out and at the same time spand the clumps over more space. I did a little test on one of the clumps before. The test was taking a small amount of water from my goldfish bowl in a baster thing and then injecting the water into the gravel at the base of the plant. This plant is now making off shoots and what look like baby plants. I will let them grow some and see if they actually get to a size where they can be transplanted. So far I am happy with the tank setup but it seems to uniform and not full enough yet. I know I dont need more fish so I will have to wait for some plants to fill out and see what will grow quickest.
