Misfits Last Caress
I got something to say
I killed your baby today
And it doesn’t matter much to me
As long as it’s dead
Well I got something to say
I raped your mother today
And it doesn’t matter much to me
As long as she spread
Sweet lovely death
I am waiting for your breath
Come sweet death, one last caress
Go
Sweet lovely death
I am waiting for your breath
Come sweet death, one last caress
Well, I got something to say
I killed your baby today
And it doesn’t matter much to me
As long as it’s dead
Sweet lovely death
I am waiting for your breath
Come sweet death
One last caress
One last caress, sweet death
One last caress, sweet death
Oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
Oh oh
Oh oh oh oh oh

Another excellent misfits selection. Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this the “most covered” misfits song? I have versions by them, AFI, NOFX, and Metallica. AFI’s done other covers, and Metallica also did “Die Die My Darling” and “Green Hell”. I think it’s their most popular song (though not the best song ever done by them).

One word… “Yeah!”

I dont think we will ever see the misfits do a song this in your face again. That is really the only thing Danzig seemed to add for me, and I am sure they where all like that in the younger days.

Then again, a lot of their lyrics were “in your face” (as you put it) compared to much else in the music industry during that time. They were definitely ahead of their time, and they also held a good sound. What I mean, is that they still sound good today. They sound like a modern band that’s really low budget, lol.

Yes, but the later stuff like Famous Monsters really is far from low budget sounding.

But the later stuff was a little more mainstream, and that was the “Graves Era” rather that the “Danzig Era”. I was referring to the latter.
