Spam on the site
I have been getting a ton of spam posts on the site, so I made a few minor changes in the hopes to curb some of this. I am going to try and keep it small on the limiting of the posts but if it still keeps comming I will have to do something more drastic. Pisses me off it is the same person always on comcast right now from the ip 71.57.133.162. If any hackers out there want to give someone a cyber ass kickin feel free to kick that ips ass. :)

I don’t understand what possible benefit spammer get from spamming people. Seems pointless to me.

I think there are alot of good reasons to do it (as evil as they are).
They tend to spam with a link to they’re website. The idea is obviously to drive traffic to they’re site. However, the other thing that might be even more benificial to them is that if they spam a large amount and get a ton of links pointing to they’re site, search engines will pick up on that type of thing and they’re site will get pulled up higher in the rankings. (part of what search engines consider a good site, is how many other people are linking to them).
And the more people ending up on your site, the higher the chance someone is going to click on an ad, or whatnot, and you will make a few more pennies. Multiply that by thousands and it starts to make sense :)

Yes, It is a very hard thing to combat with so many people involved and so many people that done really care if they take part as long as they are making money off it.
