End of a long weekend.
I ended up taking Friday off work and getting some stuff done that I had been putting off for a while. Actually it was a weekend of getting lots done. I had set out to do just one thing this weekend, which was setup the new bigger better Quake III Server. I have collected all the parts for it, but it is the one thing I didnt get done. :) I will prob do it tomorrow night since it will not take long, just a base install and copy some files over. Even though I didnt get that done I did get a huge amount of other stuff done that was more important. Also had some much needed time to think about some stuff going on right now that has been bugging me. I have decided that there is little I can do about it to change it, so I should not let it get to me so much. Very not me like but I will see how well I remeber that and just go with it, Do what I can and if I can’t do anything don’t worry.
In video game news I have completed all the tracks in Mario Kart DS on 50cc and 100cc with a A rating or better. I think Mario Kart DS is one of my top games for the DS after Tony Hawk American Sk8Land. One thing I would have liked to see in Mario Kart DS is the ability to use any kart with any character. You can’t do this in any of the Mario Kart games that I have played, but this one has some pretty neat karts for characters I dont really like. I also wanted to get Metroid Prime Hunters this weekend, but am holding out yet. I have decided to be a little better with my money and not cut it so close all the time. From the little I played in EBgames of Metroid Prime Hunters I think it is one of those games that will eat up a ton of game time. It also seems like one of the first DS games I would play online more than offline.
