Mozilla Sunbird and Lightning
I have been following the Mozilla Sunbird Calander application for a while now, and although I dont have to much need for a calander I seem to manage to find some uses. :)
It is not in a final release yet and seems not to move as fast as other Mozilla applications in its progress, but shows some great things. One of them that I just installed tonight was the Lightning Extension for Thunderbird. It implents the calander into Thunderbird with no effort and has a layout that should work nice on most systems (I say most because on the laptop at 1024×768 I feel a little cramped with it going).

I’ve been following these as well. We are using the lightning extension here at triart since 0.1. It works quite well but it’ll be really great when it supports shared calendars properly (right now they are rather buggy).
