Wrong Number Text Messages
Does anyone else feel the need to reply to wrong number text messages?
I always ended up sending a message back.. Today I got one from a number I don’t know saying “Man can you pick me up at ericks right now this is important”. My reply was “i don’t know anyone called erick”. In the past I have had whole conversations with random wrong text messages. Reply back saying something witty and they would right back, this would only ever last for about 2 to 3 messages either way, but it is something I must always do. When you think about it though I would never call back a wrong number on my answering machine and talk, but if the form of text it makes sense to just write a quick reply.

That’s funny you say that, actually… I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a single wrong number text message. I doubt mis-dialing is much of an issue these days, what with built-in contact lists and all… Maybe I just lucked out and my phone numbers spent some good quality time in the recycling pool before being re-distributed to me? I would completely message back if I got one though, even if it’s just out courtesy for the poor dude whose pick-up at Erik’s is “really important” :)
