Do you want some Slaw?

Buckethead Rocking Out In Place

I have had buckethead on my playlist now almost exclusively for 2 days (This might not be healthy). I am not sure what brought on this giant buckethead kick, but it has made me want to pick up some more buckethead albums. The man has done a crazy amount of solo work and worked with so many people it would be almost impossible to collect everything he has done.

Right now my top play is the album Crime Slunk Scene and Colma tossed in every few plays. I really suggest you check out the tune Soothsayer on Crime Slunk Scene if you have not heard it. Giant Robot, Monsters and Robots, and Cuckoo Clocks of Hell have also been getting some play.. But they really need me to be in the right mood for them (They can get a little crazy at times).

I think Crime Slunk Scene has taken the number one spot away from Colma for my all time fav buckethead album out of the ones listed above.

I’m not really familiar with this guy, but I have been going through a different musical shift myself. My woman calls me a “metal head”, but I have found that a lot of modern metal bands are incredibly talented. Unearth, The Human Abstract, and It Dies Today are currently in my rotation, though I’m constantly researching other bands. Change is good, I think.

You should check out last.fm if you are looking for a good way to find bands you might like.
