Death of JK462B
I don’t think I ever mentioned the fact that I got a cordless kettle for Christmas, or anything I got for that matter. Anyway.. The sad news is that my Superior Cordless Black Kettle model #JK462B (To me his name was just JK462B) went to silicon heaven after just over a month of service. The good news was that my mom still had the receipt hidden away at here place. The second good thing is that it came from Walmart. No box, no problem, no bag, no problem, Walmart will take anything back! Plus you can take anything from any Walmart store to any other Walmart store. So I tossed the broken kettle (JK462B) in my A&P plastic bag, drove out to my moms to find the receipt, then off to Walmart to exchange it for a replacement. I actually liked the kettle so I figure I would give the same kinda another chance and hope that one was just a dud.
Tips on exchanging things at Walmart:
- Don’t shave for a few days before going to Walmart (it helps if you have been sick for a few days before also).
- Put your item in a plastic bag that didn’t come from Walmart.
- Act really disappointed in the fact your item broke / didn’t work / is missing something / etc.
- When they tell you to go get a replacement item, make them tell you exactly where it is going to be located.
- The customer is always right.

I tend to stay away for the same reason I stay away from the mall. To many damn people wandering around with no idea what they are looking for. I tend to know what I want and go where I know it will be, so I can get in and out of the place quick. I don’t even really like the new VV. If shipping was not such a killer with online stuff I would prob do most of my shopping online. :)
