Most people who are thinking of moving to Linux only on the desktop run into two issues right off, lack of games and photoshop. Well Andrew546 has created a nice little tutorial on instructables for doing some pretty neat 3d stuff in the gimp. While I am on the topic the instructables site is one of those place I always forget about, but man there is some cool stuff on it.
