Browsing around on Palm’s website, I noticed a update for the Palm TX Accessory Cradle. Being an up to date kinda guy when it comes to these things, I downloaded and installed it.

The update was suppose to fix some issue with the Palm TX locking up after inserting it into the Accessory Cradle.

Interestingly enough after the patch was installed my Palm would lock up everytime I put it on the Accessory Cradle… Removing the update from the Palm device, seems to have put me back to a working Palm and Cradle… I would suggest to anyone with a Palm TX and the Cradle.. Don’t install this if it isn’t already broken. :)

Since switching back to ubuntu a while back I have been having a constant issue with some of the windows going grey and almost acting like they have lost focus. The program is still usable and functions as it normally would, except the whole app has a grey tint over it.

I was able to find someone else with the same issue that had taken a screen shot.

For the most part people seem to be having this issue with firefox, but I am having issues mostly with pan doing this.

After some hunting around I was able to find something that I believe has fixed it or at least made it happen less.

A quick break down is open gconf and change

apps > compiz > general > allscreens > options /ping_delay , and change the value to something higher.

I ended up setting mine to 6000.
