Follow up to the above is that it has worked great for all of today. I have used it in the car several times and headphones once. So the headphone jack has been used about 5 times today with no issues.

Boh is the best! Not only as a cheap beer. I would rather drink it than any other domestic, for any price. I wish the sold it in Alberta. I think it used to be brewed in Prince Albert, which makes it even more deadly. I wish Molson wasn’t so ashamed of it. Its 10 times the beer that Canadian is. Sell it everywhere. Its delicious.

Its not spam, but most can just be deleted now. Auto messages and crap from servers.

The only issue I have had is that a few hot keys such ass stopped working, maybe I could fix this with a clean install but I just finally got all my programs and setting the way I like them!

Actually coping the xorg.conf from the live cd fixed the issue of the touchpad. I still ended up doing a clean install cause I had already backed up her home dir and downloaded the iso. So atleast this way she gets the new ext4 filesystem and the latest grub.

updates never work out for me… clean installs all the way :) I actually installed 9.10 in a VM yesterday and it rocks! I can’t wait to get it on my laptop and desktop systems!

You can buy Boh in Saskatchewan…go for a 2.5hr drive and pick some up on the east side of Lloydminster!
