I just watched all three Indiana Jones movies back to back over the course of three nights. I came up with one question.. Why have they not made another and when will they ever end? In the last on both him and his father drink from the cup of christ (eternal life).
Just got home from going to the movies with Ash. Went to see Elizabethtown, which I didnt think I would like as much as I did. It had the standard love story (boy meets girl at some odd time, things could never work out and in the end they do). There where other stories going on at the same time and it actually had some funny quirky parts mixed in.
So many thoughts on my mind right now, and they all go back to one thing.. I think I need to listen to some more Ramones and just mellow out for a little before I sleep.
Today was one of the worst days of work in my life, everything that could go wrong went wrong. Mind you the people that should have cared didn’t seem to care all that much. Everything is fixable. Sometimes you have to smack into the wall a few times before you find the door.
After the race home I went out to eat with a friend. We where going to goto a movie after but decided to just come back here and watch a movie. I had a great time, but then hanging out with her is always fun.
Just watched the original Children of the Corn. I thought it might seem a little dated now, but found it to be a great movie. It had been a long time since I had watched it and hardly remebered anything about it. It was surprising how well the acting in the movie was considering it had such a large cast of mostly kids.
Went out for a coffee with a friend from my old work. It was different to see someone form the old place, and have been hearing and seeing more of the people from it. I dont know if this is just a fact of time of something to do with changes in my and the life of them?
Other than that I ended up watching Starwars II, and rented Ghost in the Shell 2. Ghost in the Shell 2 was a very “interesting” movie to say the least. It does not have a english version (yet?) and was hard to follow with all the sub titles but seemed like a pretty kick ass cont. to the first one. I will need to watch it again to get the whole thing clear to me. The animation in that movie has to be some of the best I have seen. It had this one part where you first meet a dog character in the movie. The dog seems very disney and simple but fits in with everything very well. It is a mix of this style with very VERY well done computer animation. If you dont mind reading the speach and liked the first one well worth a look.
